How would you like to be Marian Hossa right now?  He left the Penguins as a free agent last summer -- after the Penguins had lost the Cup to Detroit -- and signed with the Red Wings because he thought they had a better chance to win the Cup this season.

The guy turned down $80 million in multi-year deals last summer to sign for a reduced rate to try and win. He's a merc, but you gotta respect the guy for putting winning before $. Alexei Yashin should take notes.

He signed with the BlackHawks today.  Too painful to stay in Detroit.  Even worse to go back to Pittsburgh, I guess.
