Brad Childress, just signed his pink slip, just like Manginni he will not make the playoffs and will be fired at end of season or next season.  This guy needs one injury and they will see how long it takes a 39 year old to recover.

I guess I'll muster enough interest in this to say that he already has the perfect excuse if he plays poorly.  He already has the surgically-repaired shoulder.  Any poor play will get blamed on his rotator and all you'll hear from all those Favre cheerleaders on ESPN is that he's not the same because of it.

Stephen Colbert tonight:  "Congratulations Brett Favre.  You've just set the NFL record for incomplete retirements."

Can't he just take a page from Armstrong's book?  Enough already...move on, Brettster.

Ultimatly it will only turn out poorly if he gets hurt. If, he stays healthy they will have a great year, Tavaris Jackson is out, and if Sage Rosenfels gets hurt, then my man Booty will take over and we'll see what happens.

It's going to depend on that partial tear in his cuff that the doctor found while operating on Favre's bicep.
