With NASCAR ratings down and sponsorship money down too, I don't think Danica is really moving to NASCAR.  I think she's just using that for leverage in her negotiations.  Just in terms purely of sport, why leave the lighter, aerodynamic Indy cars for those bulkier and heavier 3,400 pounds sedans, I mean, stock, cars?  

she'd leave for money - she'd probably make twice as much in NASCAR, but she's not going anywhere. I happen to agree with you. It's all leverage to get a better contract. Now, it wouldn't surprise me if she tried a handful of Nationwide races next year on her off weeks.

Nascar is a bad move for Danica. Yes it could be more money but she will struggle. Danica has a weight advantage in the IRL that she wont have in NASCAR.
