Who says the Dodgers need Manny?  He's serving his suspension and the Dodgers had a 20-9 May and lead the majors with a 35-17 record.

Sorry to hear about that.  I think electing a player serving a 50 game suspension to the All Star game -- a game that decides the home field advantage in the World Series -- makes a mockery out of the process.

they should let the home run hitting contest decide home field for the series...that is actually less arbitrary! But I also say, make the last place managers show up to coach the all star clubs...just absurdity- rewarding the succesful managers of the prior year's world series work over the all star break! As if that is some sort of prize???

manny should not only play in the all star game he should parachute in from one of those fighter jets during the fly over.

The Dodgers dont need Manny and should invest all that money in several good players or building their farm teams.

We need to develop our offensive power in younger players that are going to be around longer than him.
