The NCAA has also announced that it will no longer hold championship games in states that allow betting on single games.  Wait for it...wait for it...okay, here's the fine print.  This doesn't not mean states that allow parlay betting, lottery tickets, pull tabs and sports pools.  Because if it did, that would mean all championship games would be held outside of the U.S. and would have to be played in Antartica.  Good thing that there isn't any way that people who want to place a bet on a single game can do so somewhere {{cough}} Vegas {{cough}} and watch the game on some sort of magic machine that would show the game as it happened.  Thank goodness there isn't a way to place the bet someplace and travel to the game site if one really wants to watch it live and have a bet riding on it.  Fortunately, that would need tools of communication and travel we don't yet have.  Thank goodness that the NCAA is so concerned about gambling on college sports.  Boy are they going to be surprised when they hear about the bets placed on football games.  And it's really going to kill them when they find out what people do with those brackets.

The NCAA is an absolute joke, you know it, I know it, the American people know it.  It all became very clear when they denied Jeremy Bloom eligibility to play for Colorado football because he earned money in X-treme skiing.
