Frank McCourt has fired his estranged wife Jaime from her job as the team's CEO.  If you thought she was just going to take that, you don't know estranged wives.  Her attorney has made it clear that Jaime, "As co-owner of the Dodgers, she will address this and all other issues in the courtroom."

The Dodgers will never again get into the World Series

We're just not ready for the next level.

Phillies come back to beat the Dodgers in the 9th, 5-4.
 The Phillies have momentum, home-field advantage for the clincer, Cole Hamels and Cliff Lee.  I have questions, heartbreak, and doubt about the future stewardship of the franchise.

I wrote yesterday about how the McCourts, current Dodger owners, have no sense of timing, when it was reported, on the eve of the NLCS, that they were divorcing.  I did not mention then, but I mention it now, that they are also selfish.  Why?  Because they could care less about the organization, the people that work in it, the people who root for it, and the city that loves it.
